The following are prices for refurbishing your used/expired SharpLight™ handpiece:
REFURBISHMENT DETAILS
Our repairs/refurbishing services include:
– Replacing the lamp. |
– Replacing damaged laser rods (on applicable handpieces). |
– Replacing damaged laser diodes (on applicable handpieces). |
– Repairing fiber optics cables (on applicable handpieces). |
– Replacing water flow glass tubings. |
– Replacing any damaged optical filters and light guides. |
– Cleaning and polishing the reflective cavity. |
– Cleaning and aligning all optical components. |
– Repairing and replacing any damaged water flow tubings. |
– Ensuring proper water flow inside the handpiece by cleaning water flow components. |
– Testing and repairing handpeice cooling components including TEC Peltiers. |
– Testing and repairing temperature sensors and overheating problems. |
– Replacing all o-rings and gaskets to prevent water leaks. |
– Repairing and replacing any damaged electrical wiring. |
– Repairing and replacing any damaged connectors and electrical contacts. |
– Testing and repairing electrical triggers, buttons, switches, etc. |
– Resetting the shot count on the handpiece internal chip. |
– Fully testing and calibrating each handpiece for proper operation and power output. |
– Replacement of broken plastic covers are additional, however we can often repair the broken plastic covers at no additional charge when you send the handpiece for refurbishment. |
Our turnaround time is 1-2 days from the time we receive your handpiece.
We can also provide you a wide range of parts (lamps, optical filters, reflective cavities, plastic covers, tubings, wiring, o-rings, gaskets, temperature sensors, connections, micochips, counters, etc.).
WARRANTY
SharpLight™ handpieces refurbished are warranted for 30,000 shots prorated up to 90 days.
All of our refurbishing services are under a prorated warranty.

We charge $1,500 to refurbish the SharpLight HR635 handpieces.
All of our repairs are compliant with FDA regulations.
Warranty: 50,000 shots prorated warranty up to 90 days
Repair time: 2 days once we receive the handpiece from you.
Return shipping to Canada is $125 per handpiece and will reach you in ~1-2 weeks by the US Post Office. We can also ship by FedEx, UPS, or DHL for faster delivery but costs are higher.
Refurbishment includes:
Replace lamp – same as original lamp used by manufacturer.
Replace glass tubing.
Replace all o-rings and gaskets.
Clean reflective cavity.
Clean and align optical components.
Replace optical filters if needed.
Inspect and repair the cooling system.
Inspect and repair all electrical wiring and water flow tubings/connectors.
Reset the shot count on the chip inside the handpiece.
Handpiece is tested for proper function and power output.
All of our repairs are compliant with FDA regulations as we restore the handpiece back to its original condition and original intended use.

If you can, please make sure to drain the water from the handpiece before shipping it otherwise the water can freeze during shipping and cause damage to other components inside the handpiece.
